Nabil Fekir (born July 18, 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Lyon.
Graduated from the Lyon Academy, he was promoted to the senior team in July 2013.
Fekir became a regular player in the first team in his second season when he was named a young player of the year in Ligue 1.
Since then, he has made more than 150 appearances at Les Gones, and he has also won the title of captain in 2017.
Fekir made his debut in France in March 2015 and was selected on his team that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup ™.

|Controversies||In a match against Saint-Étienne, he opened his shirt after scoring a goal and showed it to the rival team’s fans. Angered by this gesture, the fans threw objects on the ground due to which the match had to be stopped for 40 minutes. He received a yellow card for the incident. He missed the next game due to the booking in the last match. Though his fans paid a tribute to him in the stadium by showing his jersey.|

At age 12, he joined the Youth Academy Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon).
After two years, Lyon freed him for not being strong enough.
Then he joined Vaulx-en-Velin. His constant performances and immense talent have attracted many explorers from many clubs in France.
AS Saint-Etienne, rivals of Lyon, was eager to sign, but rejected the club’s offer because he wanted to rejoin Lyon and show him that he had made a mistake in releasing him.
In 2011, Lyon signed with Nabil and quickly became a key member of his youth team.
He was inducted into the club’s first team on July 30, 2013, but remained unutilized as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Grasshopper.
